Forestry (Designation of Regulatory Authority for Private Native Forestry) Order 2018
1 Name of Order This Order is the Forestry (Designation of Regulatory Authority for Private Native Forestry) Order 2018.
2 Commencement This Order commences on 30 April 2018 and is required to be published in the Gazette.
3 Declaration of Local Land Services as regulatory authority for private native forestry Pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition of regulatory authority in section 69ZB (1) of the Forestry Act 2012, Local Land Services is designated as the regulatory authority for the purposes of Part 5C of the Forestry Act 2012.
4 Transitional provision Anything that was done before the commencement of this Order by or in relation to the regulatory authority under Part 5C of the Forestry Act 2012 is taken, after that commencement, to have been done by or in relation to Local Land Services.
5 Repeal of any previous Orders Any previous Order made under section 69ZB of the Forestry Act 2012 designating the regulatory authority for the purposes of Part 5C of that Act is repealed.
