1 Name of Regulation This Regulation is the Museums of History NSW Regulation 2022.
2 Commencement This Regulation commences on 31 December 2022.
3 Definition In this Regulation— the Act means the Museums of History NSW Act 2022.
Note— The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this Regulation.
4 Transitional provision—Board of State Records Authority NSW (1) For the Act, Schedule 3, section 1, a person who was a member of the Board immediately before the amendment of the State Records Act 1998, section 69 by the Act continues to be a member despite the amendment. (2) The person continues to be a member until the earlier of the following occurs— (a) the term of office specified in the member's instrument of appointment ends, (b) the office of the member becomes vacant. (3) In this section— member of the Board means a member of the Board of the State Archives and Records Authority of New South Wales referred to in the State Records Act 1998, section 69(2)(b), (c) or (d) or (3)(d), as in force immediately before 31 December 2022.
