1 Name of regulation This regulation is the Health Practitioner Regulation (Adoption of National Law) Regulation 2023.
2 Commencement This regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Definitions In this regulation— Queensland Act means the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 of Queensland. Queensland Amendment Act means the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Surgeons) Amendment Act 2023 of Queensland. the Act means the Health Practitioner Regulation (Adoption of National Law) Act 2009.
Note— The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this regulation.
4 Application of Queensland Amendment Act—the Act, s 4
Note— The Queensland Amendment Act, sections 3, 5 and 6 are not applied as amendments to the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW). For the Act, section 4(2), the Queensland Amendment Act, section 4, which amends the Schedule to the Queensland Act, applies as an amendment to the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW).
