Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Incorporation Act" (as amended) whereby the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney as thereby incorporated was em- powered tomake issue circulate and reissue Bank Notes or Bills. [8rd December, 1878. | Preamble, ITEREAS by the terms of the sixth section of ' The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Incorporation Act" the provisions therein contained for empowering the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney to make issue circulate and re-issuc Bank notes or bills in manner therein provided were thereby limited to a term of twenty-one years to commence as therein mentioned And whereas by the third section of the "Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Incorpo- ration Act Amendment Act of 1867" the said provisions were extended for a further term of ten years And whereas the said term of ten years will shortly expire and it is expedient to continue the said provisions for a further period of twenty-one years Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :— Extension of power 1. The powers conferred upon the Commercial Banking Company twenty-one voor fr of Sydney by the third section of "The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Incorporation Act Amendment Act of 1867" shall subject to the provisions in the said Act contained be and are hereby extended and shall continue and remain in force for a further term of twenty- one years from the passing of this Act. Repeal of sec. 4 2. The fourth section of the said 'Commercial Banking Company Vie. of Sydney Incorporation Act Amendment Act of 1867" shall be and is hereby repealed.
