Preamble.
An Act to enable the Right Reverend James Francis Turner D.D. Bishop of Grafton and Armidale William Clare Cardew James Harvey Hindmarsh and Georee Thomas Thankful Butler Trustees of certain lands situate in the town of Inverell to sell the said lands and provide
for the appropriation of the proceeds thereof. [5th October, 1886.]
HEREAS by two grants made by Lord Augustus Loftus and bearing date the sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred
and eighty respectively Her Majesty the Queen granted the land described in the First and Second Sche odules here to unto William Clare Cardew James Harvey Hindmarsh and George Thomas Thankful Butler for an estate in fee-simple subject to the provisions of the Act of the Governor and Legislative Council of New South Wales eighth William Fourth number five upon trust to permit the erection and mainten- ance thereon of a church to be devoted to the worship of Almighty God according to the use of the church in the said Act described as "he United Church of England and Ireland" and a dwelling-house for the minister for the time being licensed or otherwise authorized to officiate in the chureh to be erected as aforesaid or in some other church to be erected in the neighbourhood thereof And whereas by a conveyance bearing date the tw enty-sev enth day of February one thousand eight hundred and eighiy-two and made between the late Colin Ross of the one part and James Francis Turner Bishop of

Lnverell Church of England Land Sale.
Grafton and Armidale William Clare Cardew and James Harvey Hindmarsh of the second part the land specified in the Third Schedule hereto annexed was granted bargained sold alienated released and confirmed unto the said Bishop of Gratton and Armidale William Clare Cardew and James Harvey Hindmarsh to be used as a site for Church of England purposes And whereas it is expedient that the said Bishop of Grafton and Armidale William Clare Cardew James Ilarvey ilindmarsh and George Thomas Thankful Butler should be empowered to sell and dispose of the said parcels of land and to convey and assure the same according to their respective interests to the respective purchasers thereof free and discharged from the trusts incident thereto And that the proceeds of sale in cach case should be invested in premises as hereinafter provided Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by authority of the same as follows :—
