Redhead Coal-mine Railway Act Extension.

An Act to extend the " Redhead Coal-mine , Reon co.

mine Rartway Act

Railway Act of 1883." [5th Jane, 1888. ] EXTENSION,

JTEREAS it is desirable to amend the "Redhead Coal-minc Preamble. Railway Act of 1883" by extending the time within which the railway in the said Act mentioned is to be constructed and brought into use. Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by" the authority of the same, as follows (that is to say) :—

1. It shall be lawful for the said Redhead Coal- -mining Com- Extension of timo pany (Limited)" in the said Act mentioned, to construct and bring into Raileee ne use within a period of five years from the expiration of the term of five years by the said Act, limited, the railway thereby authorized to be constructed and brought into use.

2. The lands vested by the said Act in the said Company, and all Lands to become the said Company's interest and estate therein, shall, notwithstanding wd contine that the said railway has not been constructed and brought into use Compary. within the period in the said Act limited, become and continue to be vested in the said Company, subject to the provisions of the said Act :

Provided that the said railway shall be constructed and brought into Ruiway to bo use within the period of five years from the passing of this Act, and completed and ° that in default thereof, or if after its completion the said railway shall within five years, cease to be used continuously for three years, the said lands, and all the said Company's interest and estate therein, shall revert, without any conveyance to the original owners thereof, thoir heirs and assigns.
