An Act to enable His Eminenee the Most Reverend Patrick FrancisCardinal Moran, the Very Reverend John Felix Sheridan,the Reverend Patrick Leonard Dunne, John Bede Barlow,and Michael Hagerty,orother the trustees for the time being of certain lands situate at Waverley, to sell the said lands and to provide for the application of the proceeds thereof. [5th June, 1893. ]
WEREAS by a certain grant from the Crown under the hand and seal of Sir Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus, Governor of the Colony of New South Wales, bearing date the twenty- third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, the lands deseribed in the Schedule hereto were granted unto the Most Reverend Patrick Francis Moran, the Very Reverend John Felix Sheridan, the Reverend Patrick Leonard Dunne, John Bede Barlow, and Michael ILagerty, and their heirs upon trust as a site for a Roman Catholic Church: And whereas it is expedient that the said lands should be sold, and that the proceeds to arise from such sale should be applicd in or towards the purchase of an cligible site for a Roman Catholic Church in the borough of Waverley, and the erection of such Church: Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1. After the passing of this Act, it shall be lawful for the sai¢ Patrick Francis Moran, John Felix Sheridan, Patrick Leonard Dunne. John Bede Barlow, and Michael Hagerty (hereinafter styled trustees) their heirs and assigns, or other the trustee or trustees for the time being of the said grant of the twenty-third day of March, one thousanc¢ e ight hundred and eighty-five, to sell and absolutely dispose of the sai lands by public auction or private contract, and either in one lot or several lots, as they shall deem most expedient, for such price or prices as can be had or obtained for the same, and when sold to convey the same or any part or parts thereof to the purchaser or purchasers in fee simple, freed and dise harged from the said trusts affecting the sume ; and the receipt in writing of the said trustees, their heirs or assigns, or of the trustees or trustee for the time being of the said grant, shall
