Moss Tule Cattle Sale-yards.
An Act to authorise the construction, main- tenance, and regulation of cattle sale-yards by the council of the municipal district of Moss Vale. [26th September, 1905. ]
WW EAS certain land, containing by admeasurement one acre three roods cight perches, more or less, situate within the municipal district of Moss Vale, and more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, was purchased by the council of the said municipal district for the purpose of erecting publie cattle sale-vards thereon : And whereas it is expedient that "yards for the sale of cattle should be established on the said land, and it is necessary for such purpose that full power should be given to the said council to ereet, construct, and maintain suitable buildings and yards and such other works as may be deemed expedient on such land or portion thereo!, and for such purpose to appoint officers, and make by-laws for the maintenance, regulation, and management of such sale-vards, and for other purposes in connection therewith, and to levy fecs and charges in respect of cattle sold, or offered, ov brought for sale at or to the said sale-yards or other sale-yards within or adjacent to the said municipal district : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :— 1, In this Act the word "cattle" ineludes horses, mares, geldings, foals, bulls, bullocks, cows, steers, heilers, calves, pigs, sheep, lambs, goats, and all other live stock.
2. The council of the municipal district of Moss Vale may erect, construct, and maintain suitable buildings, yards, and such other works as may he deemed expedient (hereinafter called the said sale-yards) upon the land in the Sehedule hereto set forth for the purpose of making provision for the sale of cattle therein.
