An Act to enable the Trustees for the time being of the Peak Hill A.IL.F. Memorial School of Arts to sell certain lands at Peak Hill and to transfer the same free from all trusts estates and interests affecting such lands; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 17th December, 1968.]

Peak Hill A.I.F. Memorial School of Arts (Land Sale).
HEREAS at all material times the whole of the land
comprised in Certificates of Title Volume 10208 Folios 51 and 52 has been vested in the Trustees for the time being of the Peak Hill A..F. Memorial School of Arts AND WHEREAS in the year One thousand nine hundred and forty-eight the then Trustees of the Peak Hill A.I.F. Memorial School of Arts convened a Public Meeting with a view to the establishment of a Service Club at Peak Hill AND WHEREAS as a result of the said meeting the "Peak Hill United Services Memorial Club" was formed and registered under the provisions of the Liquor Act, 1912, as amended, as a Licensed Club AND WHEREAS since its formation the Peak Hill United Services Memorial Club by arrangement with the Trustees of the Peak Hill A..F. Memorial School of Arts has used part of the said premises of the School of Arts situated upon the said land for the purposes of the said Club AND WHEREAS from time to time the Peak Hill United Services Memorial Club has effected improvements to that part of the premises of the said School of Arts situated upon the said land and occupied by it AND WHEREAS the said land occupied by the Club and the improvements erected thereon are valued at Thirteen thousand five hundred dollars of which the sum of Twelve thousand and ninety-eight dollars ninety-three cents is attributable to improvements effected by the Peak Hill United Services Memorial Club AND WHEREAS that portion of the said land and the improve- ments erected thereon and occupied by the Club are no longer required for the purpose of a School of Arts AND WHEREAS the Trustees of the Peak Hill A.I.F. Memorial School of Arts have by a contract of sale bearing date the thirtieth day of April One thousand nine hundred and sixty- eight agreed to sell and the trustees of the Peak Hill United Services Club have agreed to buy that portion of the said lands occupied by the Club and being Lot 9 in Plan of Subdivision Deposited Plan number 532629 comprising 1 rood 24 perches and being part of the lands comprised in Certificates of Title Volume 10208 Folios 51 and 52 and being part Allotments 1 and 2 Caswell Street, Peak Hill in the Parish of Mingelo, County of Narromine with the improvements erected thereon for the sum of One thousand four hundred and one dollars
