Disposal of Unexecuted Warrants Regulation 2018
1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Disposal of Unexecuted Warrants Regulation 2018.
2 Approved form for application to clerk of the court for fresh warrant An approved form for an application mentioned in section 5(4)(a) of the Act must provide for the following— (a) the name of the authorised police officer making the application; (b) the type of warrant cancelled; (c) the purpose for which the warrant was issued; (d) the day and place the warrant was issued; (e) the day the warrant was cancelled; (f) the application to be signed by the authorised police officer.
3 Approved form for application to District Court or Supreme Court judge for fresh warrant An approved form for an application mentioned in section 6(6)(a) of the Act must provide for the following— (a) the name of the prescribed person making the application; (b) the type of warrant cancelled; (c) the purpose for which the warrant was issued; (d) the day and place the warrant was issued; (e) the day the warrant was cancelled; (f) the application to be signed by the prescribed person.
4 Prescribed places for cancellation of warrants— Act , ss 5 and 6 (1) For section 5(1) of the Act, Police Headquarters at 200 Roma Street, Brisbane is the prescribed place. (2) For section 6(2) of the Act, the office of the Supreme and District Court Registry at 415 George Street, Brisbane is the prescribed place.
5 Repeal The Disposal of Unexecuted Warrants Regulation 2008, SL No. 290 is repealed.
