Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games Arrangements Regulation 2024

1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games Arrangements Regulation 2024.

2 Prescribed venues and villages— Act , s 5A (1) For section 5A(1) of the Act, a site or facility mentioned in schedule 1, part 1 is prescribed as a venue. (2) For section 5A(2) of the Act, a site mentioned in schedule 1, part 2 is prescribed as a village.

Part 1 Venues 1 the facility known as Barlow Park located on lot 761 on SP338643 2 the facility known as the Sleeman Sports Complex, including the Brisbane Aquatic Centre and Chandler Sports Precinct, located on lot 1 on SP150590 3 the facility known as the Sunshine Coast Stadium located on lot 2 on SP163937 4 the site on which an indoor sports centre, to be known as the Logan Indoor Sports Centre, is to be developed on Democracy Way, Logan Central 4114 5 the site on which an indoor sports centre, to be known as the Moreton Bay Indoor Sports Centre, is to be developed within The Mill at Moreton Bay Priority Development Area under the Economic Development Act 2012 6 the site on which an indoor sports centre, to be known as the Sunshine Coast Indoor Sports Centre, is to be developed within the Kawana Sports Precinct at 320 Nicklin Way, Bokarina 4575 7 the site on which a mountain bike facility, to be known as the Sunshine Coast Mountain Bike Centre, is to be developed at 348 Yandina Bli Bli Road, Parklands 4560

Part 2 Villages 1 the site on which an accommodation facility, to be known as the Brisbane Athlete Village, is to be developed within the Northshore Hamilton Priority Development Area under the Economic Development Act 2012 2 the site on which an accommodation facility, to be known as the Gold Coast Athlete Village, is to be developed on Robina Town Centre Drive, Robina 4226 3 the site on which an accommodation facility, to be known as the Kooralbyn Satellite Athlete Village, is to be developed on Routley Drive, Kooralbyn 4285 4 the site on which an accommodation facility, to be known as the Sunshine Coast Athlete Village, is to be developed within the Maroochydore City Centre Priority Development Area under the Economic Development Act 2012
