Forestry (State Forests) Regulation 1987
1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Forestry (State Forests) Regulation 1987.
2 State forests Each area of Crown land or timber reserve described in the schedule is set apart and declared as a State forest.
3 Plan references For the schedule— (a) a plan with a number beginning with FTY is a plan— (i) held by the department; and (ii) available for inspection by members of the public at the head office of the department during normal business hours; and (b) a plan other than a plan mentioned in paragraph (a) is a plan— (i) held by the department administering the Land Act 1994; and (ii) available for inspection by members of the public at the head office of that department during normal business hours.
4 Replacement of statutory rules (1) This section applies to an order in council or proclamation in force under the Act for— (a) the setting apart of a timber reserve that is set apart and declared as a State forest under this regulation; or (b) the setting apart and declaration of a State forest that is set apart and declared as a State forest under this regulation. (2) The order or proclamation is repealed to the extent it declares or sets apart the State forest or timber reserve.
5 Special provision for State Forest 741 (1) The setting apart as a timber reserve of the relevant land is revoked to the extent that the setting apart has not otherwise been revoked. (2) This section is for the avoidance of doubt. (3) In this section— relevant land means the land described in the schedule to the order in council that first appears on page 735 of the gazette of 20 August 1932.
