BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows.

Short title

Clause1. This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Palm Beach Land) Act 1992.

Object of Act

Clause2. The object of this Act is to provide for the settlement of claims in

relation to damage caused by land subsidence to certain houses at Palm Beach in the City of Gold Coast.
