An Act to approve an agreement between the Commonwealth, States and Territories, and for other purposes

The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

PART 1—PRELIMINARY

Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Financial Agreement Act 1994.

Commencement 2.(1) Sections 7 and 10 commence on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

(2) This section expires on the day on which sections 7 and 10 commence.

PART 2—APPROVAL OF 1994 FINANCIAL AGREEMENT

Approval

3.(1) This section applies to the agreement between the Commonwealth, States and Territories called the 1994 Financial Agreement.

(2) A copy of the agreement is set out in the Schedule. (3) The agreement is approved.
