The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Racing and Betting Amendment Act 1995.
Act amended 2. This Act amends the Racing and Betting Act 1980.
Amendment of s 5 (Interpretation) 3.(1) Section 5, definition "Greyhound Board"— omit, insert—
' "Greyhound Authority" means the Greyhound Racing Authority established under this Act.'.
(2) Section 5, definitions "control body", "registered", subparagraph (a)(iii), "Rules of Greyhound Racing", 'Greyhound Board'—
omit, insert—
'Greyhound Authority'.
Amendment of s 76 (Constitution of Greyhound Racing Control Board of Queensland)
4.(1) Section 76, heading— omit, insert— 'Establishment of Greyhound Racing Authority'.
