Vocational Education, Training and Employment Amendment
The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Amendment Act 1995.
Commencement
2. This Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
Act amended
3. This Act amends the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Act 1991.
Insertion of new ss 20A and 20B 4. After section 20— insert—
'Establishment of Nagi Binanga
'20A.(1) An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Council ("Nagi Binanga") is to be established as a standing committee of the commission.
"(2) Nagi Binanga is established to consist of — (a) 1 member of the commission nominated by the Minister; and (b) 1 person representing aboriginal communities; and (c) 1 person representing Torres Strait islander communities; and
