The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Law (Sex Offenders Reporting) Act 1997.

Meaning of "sex offender" 3.(1) A "sex offender" is an adult who—
(a) has been convicted of either of the following offences and sentenced to serve a term of imprisonment of at least 6 months for the offence—
