Dental Technicians and Dental Prosthetists Amendment

The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Dental Technicians and Dental Prosthetists Amendment Act 1997.

Amended Act

2. This Act amends the Dental Technicians and Dental Prosthetists Act 1991.

Amendment of s 3 (Interpretation) 3. Section 3(1)— insert—

' "approved dental prosthetics course" means a course in dental prosthetics declared under a regulation to be an approved dental prosthetics course.

"approved oral pathology course" means a course in oral pathology declared under a regulation to be an approved oral pathology course.'.

Amendment of s 21 (Registers) 4. Section 21(2)— omit, insert— "(2) The prescribed particulars mentioned in subsection (1) are—

(a) for the register of dental technicians—the prescribed particulars stated in section 28(b); and

(b) for the register of dental prosthetists— (i) _ the prescribed particulars stated in section 28(b); and
