The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
Short title
Clause 1. This Act may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Authority Amendment Act 1997.
Commencement
Clause 2.(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), this Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
(2) Section 12 is taken to have commenced on 24 February 1997.
(3) Section 8 is taken to have commenced on | July 1997.
Act amended Clause 3. This Act amends the Fire and Rescue Authority Act 1990.
Amendment of s 81 (Membership of board) Clause 4.(1) Section 81(4)— renumber as section 81(5). (2) Section 8I— insert—
