The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

PART 1—PRELIMINARY

Short title

Clause 1. This Act may be cited as the Electricity and Gas Legislation Amendment Act 1999.

Commencement

Clause 2. Part 2 commences, or is taken to have commenced, on 4 December

1999.

PART 2—AMENDMENT OF ELECTRICITY AMENDMENT ACT (No. 3) 1997

Act amended in pt 2 Clause 3. This part amends the Electricity Amendment Act (No. 3) 1997.

Replacement of s 2 (Commencement) Clause 4. Section 2— omit, insert— "Commencement '2.(1) The following provisions commence on 5 December 2000— (a) section 32(1); (b) section 33; (c) section 39 to the extent it inserts chapter 5, part 1B; 12 14161820
