The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Act 1999.
Act amended 2. This Act amends the Liguor Act 1992.
Amendment of s 9 (Ordinary trading hours) 3. Section 9(3)—
omit, insert—
"(3) On Anzac Day, ordinary trading hours for licensed premises, including premises that are a cabaret, do not include any period before 1 p.m. other than for sale of liquor to a person to consume on the premises in association with the consumer eating a meal in a part of the premises ordinarily set aside for dining if the meal is prepared, served and intended to be eaten on the premises—
(a) between the period between 10 a.m. and | p.m.; or
(b) the period between 6 a.m. and | p.m. that the chief executive approves in a particular case.'.
