Liquor (Trading Limitations on Anzac Day) Amendment
The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Liquor (Trading Limitations on Anzac Day) Amendment Act 2000.
Act amended 2. This Act amends the Liguor Act 1992.
Amendment of s 9 (Ordinary trading hours) 3. Section 9(3)— omit, insert—
"(3) On Anzac Day, ordinary trading hours for licensed premises, including premises that are a cabaret, do not include any period before 1 p.m., other than either of the following periods for sale of liquor to a person to consume on the premises in association with the consumer eating a meal in a part of the premises ordinarily set aside for dining if the meal is prepared, served and intended to be eaten on the premises—
(a) the period between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.;
(b) the period between 6 a.m. and | p.m. that the chief executive approves in a particular case.'. 111315 18
