This Act may be cited as the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Authorisation Act 2000. Definitions 2. In this Act— "Commonwealth Act" means the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (Cwlth). "principal Act" means the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 1999. Authorisation 3. The Governor in Council is authorised for section 5 of the principal Act to make, for the Commonwealth Act, section 43(1), a gazette notice in the form stated in the schedule.! Expiry 4. This Act expires when the principal Act expires.2 1 Section 5 of the principal Act (Endorsing proposed regulations under the Commonwealth Act) Section 43(1) of the Commonwealth Act— References to endorsing a proposed regulation 43.(1) For the purposes of this Part, a jurisdiction endorses a regulation if the designated person for the jurisdiction publishes a notice in the official gazette of the jurisdiction setting out and endorsing the terms of the regulation before it is made. 2 Section 8 of the principal Act provides for its expiry.
