Gas Amendment Bill 2001 The Parliament of Queensland enacts— 1 Clause 1 Short title 2 This Act may be cited as the Gas Amendment Act 2001. 3 Clause 2 Act amended 4 This Act amends the Gas Act 1965. 5 Clause 3 Amendment of s 5B (Meaning of "contestable consumer") 6 (1) Section 5B(1), '31 August 2001'— 7 omit, insert— 8 '31 December 2002'. 9 (2) Section 5B(4), '1 September 2001'— 10 omit, insert— 11 "1 January 2003'. 12 Clause 4 Amendment of s 5C (Meaning of "non-contestable consumer") 13 Section 5C(1)(b),°31 August 2001'— 14 omit, insert— 15 '31 December 2002'. 16
