The Parliament of Queensland enacts—
1__ Short title
This Act may be cited as the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Authorisation Act 2001.
2 Definitions In this Act—
"Commonwealth Act" means the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (Cwlth).
"principal Act" means the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 1999.
3 Authorisation
The Governor in Council is authorised for section 5 of the principal Act to make, for the Commonwealth Act, section 43(1), a gazette notice in the form stated in the schedule.!
4 Expiry
This Act expires when the principal Act expires.?

43.(1) For the purposes of this Part, a jurisdiction endorses a regulation if the designated person for the jurisdiction publishes a notice in the official gazette of the jurisdiction setting out and endorsing the terms of the regulation before it is made.
2 Section 8 of the principal Act provides for its expiry.
