The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

PART 1—PRELIMINARY

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Criminal Defamation Amendment Act

2002.

Commencement

This Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

PART 2—AMENDMENT OF CRIMINAL CODE

Act amended in pt 2 This part amends the Criminal Code.

Amendment of pt 5 hdg Part 5, heading, after 'duties'—
