The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Act 2004.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

3 Act amended This Act amends the Liguor Act 1992.

4 Amendment of s 4 (Definitions) (1) Section 4— insert— 'airport includes— (a) an aerodrome, airfield and landing strip; and

(b) another place used for the landing or parking of aircraft; and

(c) atarmac.'.

(2) Section 4, definition public place, paragraph (b)— omit, insert— "(b) an airport; or

(c) a vehicle, boat or aircraft that is in or on a place mentioned in paragraph (a) or (b).'.

5 Amendment of s 103L (Authority of restricted area permit)

(1) Section 103L(1)—

A restricted area permit authorises the permittee to have in possession in a public place in a restricted area more than the prescribed quantity of liquor for the area—

(a) at the times and on the day or days, and for the purpose, stated in the permit; or

(b) during the period, of not more than 1 year, and for the purpose, stated in the permit.'.
