TAB Queensland Limited Privatisation Legislation Amendment Bill 2004

The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

Part 1 Preliminary

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the TAB Queensland Limited Privatisation Legislation Amendment Act 2004.

2 Commencement

(1) Part 2, other than section 5(2), commences on 5 November 2004.

(2) Section 5(2) commences on | January 2005.

Part 2 Amendment of TAB Queensland Limited Privatisation Act 1999

3 Act amended in pt 2

This part amends the TAB Queensland Limited Privatisation Act 1999.

4 Replacement of s 43 (Application of pt 5) Section 43— omit, insert— '43 Application of pt 5 'This part applies only to a TABQ group company that is—

(a) a licensed monitoring operator under the Gaming Machine Act 1991; or
