The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

Part 1 Preliminary Clause 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Health Practitioners Legislation Amendment Act 2005. Clause 2 Commencement This Act commences on 1 January 2006. Part 2 Amendment of Health Practitioner Registration Boards (Administration) ActClause 3 Act amended in pt 2 This part amends the Health Practitioner Registration Boards (Administration) Act 1999. Clause 4 Amendment of s 8 (Function of office)

Section 8, from 'to help'—

omit, insert—

"'to—

(a) help each board to perform its functions; and

(b) _ help the executive officer to perform his or her functions and exercise his or her powers.'.
