The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

Part 1 Preliminary

1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Clean Coal Technology Special Agreement Act 2007.

2 Object of Act The object of this Act is to accelerate the development, demonstration and widespread implementation and use of clean coal technology by encouraging collaborative investment, by the State and the coal industry, in research, development and demonstration.

3 Definitions In this Act— ACALET means ACA Low Emissions Technologies Limited ACN 123 147 240. agreement means the agreement made under section 11. council means the Clean Coal Council established under section 4. relevant project means a Queensland Clean Coal Technology Project or National Clean Coal Technology Project under the agreement.
