The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Liquor (Restriction of Supply to Minors) Amendment Act 2007.

Commencement

This Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

Act amended This Act amends the Liguor Act 1992.

Replacement of s 5 (Who is a responsible adult for a minor)

Section 5— omit, insert— Who is a responsible adult 'A responsible adult, for a minor, is an adult who— (a) is the minor's parent, step-parent or guardian; or

(b) _ has parental rights and responsibilities for the minor.'.

Insertion of new s 61AA Part 4, division 2, after section 61—

insert—

'61AA Prohibition sign must be displayed at detached bottle
