Short title
This Act may be cited as the Criminal Code (Anzac Day Betting) Amendment Act 2011.
Code amended This Act amends the Criminal Code.
Amendment of s 230A (Definitions for ch 23) (1) Section 230A—
insert—
'exempt two-up game means a two-up game played on 25 April at a celebration held at a permitted two-up venue to commemorate Anzac Day.
permitted two-up venue means—
(a) a licensed club; or
(b) alicensed hotel.
licensed means licensed under the Liquor Act 1992.'. (2) Section 230A, definition unlawful game—
insert—
'(d) is not an exempt two-up game.'.
