Short title
This Act may be cited as the Right to Information (Government-related Entities) Amendment Act 2011.
Act amended
This Act amends the Right to Information Act 2009.
Amendment of s 16 (Meaning of public authority)

(2)
Section 16(1)— insert—
'(ba) a corporation supported directly or indirectly by government funds or other assistance or over which the State, a Minister or a department is in a position to exercise control;'.
Section 16(4)— insert—
'control means the capacity of an entity to dominate decision-making, directly or indirectly, in relation to the operation of another entity so as to enable the other entity to operate with it in pursuing the objectives of the controlling entity.'.
