Part 1 Preliminary

1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Serious and Organised Crime Legislation Amendment Act 2016 .

2 Commencement (1) The following provisions commence on the day that is 3 months after the date of assent— • part 7, division 3 • part 17 • part 18 • part 21, division 3 • part 22 • section 396(4) to (7) • part 30, division 3 • schedule 1, part 2. (2) Part 7 , division 4, commences on the day that is 2 years after the date of assent.
