1—Short title These regulations may be cited as the Public Interest Disclosure Regulations 2019. 2—Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which section 12 of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2018 comes into operation. 3—Interpretation In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears— Act means the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2018. 4—Prescribed qualifications (section 12) Persons designated as responsible officers for the purposes of the Act must have completed any training courses approved by the Commissioner for the purposes of this regulation.
