1—Short title These regulations may be cited as the Legislative Instruments (Postponement of Expiry) Regulations 2024. 2—Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made. 3—Interpretation In these regulations— Act means the Legislative Instruments Act 1978. 4—Postponement of expiry for 1 year—regulations made before 1 January 2014 The expiry under Part 3A of the Act of the regulations listed in Schedule 1 is postponed for a period of 1 year commencing on 1 September 2024. 5—Expiry of obsolete regulations The regulations listed in Schedule 2 will expire under the Act on 1 September 2024.
