1—Short title These regulations may be cited as the Daylight Saving Regulations 2024. 2—Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made. 3—Interpretation In these regulations— Act means the Daylight Saving Act 1971. 4—South Australian summer time For the purposes of the Act, the prescribed period for the observance of South Australian summer time is the period from 2 am South Australian standard time on the first Sunday in October until 3 am South Australian summer time on the first Sunday in the following April.
Schedule 1—Repeal of Daylight Saving Regulations 2009 The Daylight Saving Regulations 2009 are repealed.
