The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows: Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title This Act may be cited as the South Australian Motor Sport (Parklands) Amendment Act 2023.
Part 2—Amendment of South Australian Motor Sport Act 1984 2—Amendment of section 8—Functions of Board Section 8(2)(b)—delete "and parklands" 3—Amendment of section 20—Minister may make certain declarations (1) Section 20(1)(a)—delete "or parkland or both" (2) Section 20—after subsection (1) insert: (2) However, a declared area must not consist of or include any part of the Adelaide Park Lands (within the meaning of the Adelaide Park Lands Act 2005). (3) To the extent that a declaration under subsection (1) contravenes subsection (2), the declaration will be taken to be void and of no effect. (3) Section 20(4)(a)—delete paragraph (a) (4) Section 20(4)(c)—delete paragraph (c) 4—Amendment of section 22—Board to have power to enter and carry out works etc on declared area Section 22(5)(c)—delete paragraph (c)
