Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title These regulations may be cited as the Fair Work (Representation) Regulations 2024. 2—Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made. 3—Interpretation In these regulations— Act means the Fair Work Act 1994; business day means any day except Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday; recognised advocate means— (a) a person who is an officer or employee of an association and whose registration as a registered agent under the Act is supported by that association; or (b) a person whose registration as a registered agent under the Act is supported by an employer of public employees.
