The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows: Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title This Act may be cited as the Gas (Other Gases) Amendment Act 2023. 2—Commencement This Act comes into operation on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
Part 2—Amendment of Gas Act 1997 3—Amendment of section 4—Interpretation Section 4(1), definition of gas—after "means a" insert: covered gas (as defined by the National Gas Law set out in the Schedule to the National Gas (South Australia) Act 2008) or any other 4—Insertion of section 59AA After section 59 insert: 59AA—Interpretation In this Part— gas has the same meaning as in the National Energy Retail Law set out in the Schedule to the National Energy Retail Law (South Australia) Act 2011.
