The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows: Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title This Act may be cited as the Children and Young People (Safety) (Child and Young Person's Visitor) Amendment Act 2022. 2—Commencement This Act comes into operation 3 months after it is assented to by the Governor.
Part 2—Amendment of Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 3—Insertion of section 117A After section 117 insert: 117A—Staff and resources The Minister must provide the Child and Young Person's Visitor with the staff and other resources that the Visitor reasonably needs for exercising the Visitor's functions.
