The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows: Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title This Act may be cited as the Construction Industry Training Fund (Application of Fund) Amendment Act 2024. 2—Commencement This Act comes into operation on the day on which it is assented to by, or on behalf of, the Crown.
Part 2—Amendment of Construction Industry Training Fund Act 1993 3—Amendment of section 31—Construction Industry Training Fund Section 31—after subsection (4) insert: (4a) The Board must ensure that in each calendar year not less than 75% of the amount paid into the Fund is applied for the purposes specified in subsection (4)(a) (of which not less than the prescribed percentage must be applied for the purposes of employment related training in regional and rural areas). 4—Amendment of section 32—Training Plan Section 32(2)(a)—after "Fund" insert: , including employment related training in regional and rural areas
