The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows: Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title This Act may be cited as the Plastic Shopping Bags (Waste Avoidance) Repeal Act 2024. 2—Commencement This Act comes into operation on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
Part 2—Repeal of Plastic Shopping Bags (Waste Avoidance) Act 2008 3—Repeal of Act The Plastic Shopping Bags (Waste Avoidance) Act 2008 is repealed.
Part 3—Repeal of Plastic Shopping Bags (Waste Avoidance) Regulations 2022 4—Repeal of regulations The Plastic Shopping Bags (Waste Avoidance) Regulations 2022 are repealed.
