Resource Planning and Development Commission Amendment Act 2000
An Act to amend the Resource Planning and Development Commission Act 1997 and to validate certain delegations made under that Act [Royal Assent 31 May 2000]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Resource Planning and Development Commission Amendment Act 2000 .
2. Commencement This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
3. Principal Act In this Act, the Resource Planning and Development Commission Act 1997 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. The amendment effected by this section has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Resource Planning and Development Commission Act 1997 .
5. Validation of delegations (1) Any delegation made or purported to have been made before the commencement of this Act by the Resource Planning and Development Commission is taken to have been validly made. (2) A function or power performed or exercised, or purportedly performed or exercised, by a person pursuant to a delegation or purported delegation made before the commencement of this Act by the Resource Planning and Development Commission is taken to have been validly performed or exercised by that person as a delegate of the Resource Planning and Development Commission.
