Mineral Resources Development (Application of Act) Order (No. 3) 2002

I make the following order under section 5(3) of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Mineral Resources Development (Application of Act) Order (No. 3) 2002 .

2. Commencement This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3. Act applies to certain land The Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 is declared to apply to the forest reserves specified in Schedule 1 to this order.

SCHEDULE 1 - Areas of land

PART 1 - Alma Tier

All those areas of land in the Land District of Pembroke, Parishes of Triabunna and Cruttenden, comprising about 125 hectares and 159 hectares, shown as Lot 1 and Lot 2 and bounded by heavy black lines on Plan 5096 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 1 of Schedule 2 to this order.

PART 2 - Dismal Swamp

All that area of land in the Land District of Wellington, Parish of Riengeena, comprising about 310 hectares, shown bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 5095 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 2 of Schedule 2 to this order.

PART 3 - Lake Pieman

All that area of land in the Land District of Russell, vicinity of Lake Pieman, comprising about 1055 hectares, shown bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 5094 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 3 of Schedule 2 to this order.
