Local Government (Kentish Council Election) Order 2003
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 268A(1A) of the Local Government Act 1993 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Local Government (Kentish Council Election) Order 2003 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Interpretation The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if it were by-laws.
4. Closing day for Kentish Council elections The closing day for the election in respect of the Kentish Council that was due to be held in October 2002 but was postponed by the Local Government (Kentish Council Election) Order 2002 is fixed as 24 June 2003.
5. Revocation of order The Local Government (Kentish Council Election) Order 2002 is revoked.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
