Proclamation under the Nature Conservation Act 2002
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 11(2) of the Nature Conservation Act 2002 –
(a) declare the areas of Crown land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and (b) give the name Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area to that reserved land; and (c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 12 August 2003

SCHEDULE 1 - Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area
1. All those areas of land comprising – (a) about 26.01 hectares shown as Lot 1; and (b) about 22.43 hectares shown as Lot 2; and (c) about 4.783 hectares shown as Lot 3; and (d) about 32.1 hectares shown as Lot 4; and (e) about 2.54 hectares shown as Lot 5; and (f) about 74.4 hectares shown as Lot 6 – on Plan 6209 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
