Inland Fisheries (Destruction of Controlled Fish) Order 1996
I make the following order under section 152 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Destruction of Controlled Fish) Order 1996 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on 31 May 1996.
3. Interpretation (1) In this order "Act" means the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 . (2) An expression in this order that is defined in the Act has the same meaning as so defined.
4. Destruction of controlled fish The Director is authorised to destroy controlled fish in either or both of the following manners: (a) adding any, or any combination, of the following to the inland waters in which the fish are believed to occur: (i) Rotenone; (ii) Alphamethrin; (iii) Endosulfan; (iv) Calcium hydroxide; (b) draining inland waters.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
