Genetically Modified Organisms Control (GMO-free Area) Order 2005
I make the following order under section 5(1) of the Genetically Modified Organisms Control Act 2004 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Genetically Modified Organisms Control (GMO-free Area) Order 2005 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on 15 November 2005.
3. Interpretation The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if it were regulations within the meaning of that Act.
4. GMO-free area The whole of Tasmania is declared to be a GMO-free area.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
Notified in the Gazette on 14 November 2005
