Local Government (Amendment of By-laws) Order 2009
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, make the following order under section 154(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1993 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Local Government (Amendment of By-laws) Order 2009 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Interpretation In this order – model provision 1A means the model provision set out in Division 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 10 to this order; model provision 1B means the model provision set out in Division 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 10 to this order; model provision 1C means the model provision set out in Division 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 10 to this order; model provision 2A means the model provision set out in Part 2 of Schedule 10 to this order; model provision 3A means the model provision set out in Part 3 of Schedule 10 to this order; model provision 4 means the model provision set out in Part 4 of Schedule 10 to this order.
4. Brighton Council by-laws amended Each by-law made by the Brighton Council specified in column 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this order is amended as specified adjacent to the by-law in column 2 of that Part.
5. Derwent Valley Council by-laws amended Each by-law made by the Derwent Valley Council specified in column 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to this order is amended as specified adjacent to the by-law in column 2 of that Part.
6. Devonport City Council by-laws amended Each by-law made by the Devonport City Council specified in column 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 3 to this order is amended as specified adjacent to the by-law in column 2 of that Part.
